Contributing Writer

Maresa Manara is a contributing writer for Condé Nast Traveler. Maresa studied journalism in Sydney, the highlights of her early career being a story on spiritual pet healers and an interview with Hugh Jackman’s dad. While living in Italy and the Middle East, Maresa moved into travel journalism, which taught her many things, namely: her sense of direction is terrible, nearly every stomach ailment can be cured by a can of coke, and that, in order to get a good story, you need to get on the wrong bus. Previously, she worked at the BBC, and has written for publications including Harper’s Bazaar, Stylist, and Dorling Kindersley.
